As a child, I remember my mother saying, "It is far better to give than to receive," and I suspect her mother used to utter those same words to her – as do I to my children. Over the years, I've learned some people give of their time, some of their talents and others prefer to share their wealth. Regardless of how you choose to give back to your community, no act of kindness is ever too small.

From the inception of Watermelon Wishes, I knew there would be a way for us to give something back to the community in which we live. As such, the Watermelon Wishes Foundation was established. While our mission has evolved, we continue to remain focused on those efforts which directly benefit mothers and children within the Gainesville/Haymarket, Virginia corridor.

Product and/or gift certificate donations are one way in which we may be able to help your nonprofit organization meet their fundraising goals. Requests should be submitted in writing, three to six weeks prior to the event and can be mailed to:
